Mo Hamoi

Mo Hamoi

Mo was born near the ocean in Torrance CA but currently lives in WA. His love for the water stemmed from a young age, being born in a surfer community. Although he started wakesurfing at a later age [summer of 2019], he has progressed incredibly fast. Being known as one of the only year-round winter surfers in the PNW, not much gets in the way of surfing for Mo. He puts in over 400-600 hours per year on his boats and his riding shows that.

Mo's first year of competing is in the Semi-Pro division and he even took podium on his first competition (2nd Place, Cali Comp)! He is already ranked amongst the top 10 in the worldand quickly on his way to the Pro division. At the moment, Mo rides a skim style 2021 Phase Five Key -  primarily due to how "light, fast, and forgiving it is". Mo also added "I have endless love and appreciation for all those that have been a part of my journey so far! Cheers to the good times, good waves, and good vibes to come!”
