Maria grew up on the water in Michigan but now resides in Florida where she gets to spend much more time on water! She grew up mostly wakeboarding until she played D1 ice hockey and then switched to mostly wakesurfing to minimize injuries in the off season. Maria learned to surf on an old Ronix board but has now worked up to the P5 Key.
Boating and wakesurfing has truly become her lifestyle while working in the industry for the past 5 years and she says it has led her to meet some of the coolest people. Maria says “The wakesurfing industry has become a huge part of who I am today and I couldn’t be more thankful”!
We are super excited to add Maria to the Wake Outfitters family this year and can’t wait to see how much fun she has on the water!
