Vortex by Exile

  • Designed by Wake Outfitters and constructed by the leader of skim boards, Exile, this board is the answer to all of your skimboarding needs.

The Vortex has a crazy smooth ride while also making it easier to get those 360’s, reverts, shuvs, and whatever else you can think of. The word finesse comes to mind for it just pushes you to try those smooth tricks you’ve had on your mind. Wether a beginner or seasoned pro, this board is for you. With the tri-fin set up, you can adjust fin use as necessary and as skill level improves.

The difference comes from a true Double Carbon upper and lower board with sharp rails for speed down the line without sacrificing maneuverability. We designed this with a grab rail for easy holds and what can you say, it will turn heads! The majority of the competition only has a carbon upper and this is where the Vortex shines above the others. This provides a quicker response/feedback on the board while giving you full control.

The Vortex is made by hand one at a time and we aren’t covering anything up with fancy graphics and shiny logos. You will see the board in raw form but sweet hand art just like the all the ocean skimboards from the #1 blue water skim company in the world.

    Fins and Traction included

Now made with the all new G.O.A.T. Construction using superlight proprietary materials and instant feedback on the board!

*Because Carbon Fiber is inherently black in nature and due to the construction process, there is a good chance you will see some black showing along the rails of the board and perhaps some areas on the deck. This is the way the ocean skimboards have been designed since day 1!
